We're kicking off the Halloween weekend with trick-or-treating! Grab your ghouls, your goblins, your ghosties, your Blueys, and your emergency preparedness equipment of choice -- you know who you are -- and come see what treats await you!
What if you're not into sweets, you ask? Well, are you into potatoes? Because there's a good chance you'll have that option. Check the map for pumpkin markers -- that's where treats will be waiting! FMNP & SNAP shoppers will also want to check the map for vendors who accept Maryland Market Money...or check in with the Charles County Food Connection (@lifestylesofmd).
Whatever you think of as treats or goodies, you'll probably find it on a vendor table or served out a food truck window, Saturday, Oct. 28, 9AM - 2PM. Once you've made the rounds and taken a photo with us, make your way out into the rest of downtown La Plata where the trick-or-treat trail runs 12-3.
