The temperatures are dropping at night. You've already lit up the fire pit a couple of times. You're thinking about putting an extra blanket on the bed. You know what that means.
SOUP SEASON.
September is the last month of the growing season with this level of variety of fruits, but check out the vegetable section! Your favorite soups, stews, and chowders are just waiting to jump into your crock pot, and if you've been missing getting that broccoli cheddar soup you love, well, good news! Here's the recipe for that and six of its friends.
If you haven't already, you'll start seeing your soup ingredients on the stands, and you'd be surprised how much soup a single butternut squash can make. Don't take our word for it, though -- come pick one up at the Market!
