Pollinators...what would a farmers market be without them? Fun fact: Pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds are essential to the production of fruits, vegetables, grains, and anything that grows from the ground or depends upon food that grows from the ground. Including those tomatoes you're growing in your backyard.
Want to support your local hard-working pollinators? Pick up some native flowers and plants at the Charles County Master Gardeners, University of Maryland Extension plant sale in the overflow parking lot! And then maybe play a game of Pollinated Foods Bingo (see link below to download). Fill your bingo card with products from these fine folk:
Yeduri
Gifts Galore
Carol's Citchen
Billy the Beekeeper
Jacks Produce Farm
Kirk McKesson Woodwork
Britt's Body Butters
