One of the great things about farmers markets is all the chances you have to talk to the people who grow, brew, harvest, make, and produce all the things. Have you ever seen, for example, how brussels sprouts grow? Or how soap is made? Or how so many things are produced, bottled, or packaged? All you have to do is ask the small businesses who're doing all those things!
We celebrate the Great Independent American Spirit for the whole July 4th weekend, so feel free to wrap yourself in the red, white, and blue and come see us 9AM - 2PM. We'll be out behind the Charles County Courthouse complex -- just aim for 209 Washington Ave. in La Plata and keep an eye out for tents and food trucks.
