Just about every market day, we meet someone who never knew that La Plata had a farmers market. La Plata's farmers market has been around for 44 years, but not like it looks now. For that matter, our layout changes every week as vendors rotate in and out and -- gasp! -- take vacations. So if you don't see your favorite vendor on the map this week, wait. They'll probably be back next week. Or check their socials and let them know you were looking for them. And, hey, if you know anyone who uses SNAP or FMNP benefits, let them know that they can double their money with Maryland Market Money -- just see the food access coordinator at the Charles County Food Connection in the Lifestyles of Maryland tent.
