We're Looking for 20 Young Artists, Bakers, Crafters, Growers, and Producers of Cool Things
The La Plata Farmers Market – Junior Edition is a one-time event taking place on Saturday, 30 September, from 9:00am-2:00pm. Junior vendors will share the market with seasonal and daily vendors in the parking lot of the Charles County Courthouse complex.
Junior vendors must be between the ages of 5-18, and an adult must remain with their child at all times. Parents are welcome to help the children, but junior vendors should do as much of the work as they can on their own.

We're not going to lie -- our market has a lot of rules, and they're attached to the packet. Adults, part of your job is to read them and help your young entrepreneur understand what's expected of them.

Since this is the first time we've ever tried this, we've probably left some gaps in the instructions. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. We'll share the answers with all involved so everyone can have a better understanding.

When you and your young producer are ready to sign up, email the application to the Market Manager, or stop by our market on Saturday sometime 9AM - 2PM, and find Chenoa Sowa, the Junior Edition Event Coordinator, at the Market Information Booth.
