We'll re-open for the 2024 market season on April 6, 2024. We will accept applications from new vendors starting in late March, 2024. Watch for announcements here, on our Facebook page, or on our Instagram page.

La Plata Farmers Market has been in continuous operation since 1978. Our market season runs from April through November. During the market season, we are open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9 am - 2 pm, rain or shine.

Once we're back in action, we'll be open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9 am - 2 pm.

On Wednesdays, you'll find us in the parking lot just north of the intersection of Talbot Street and Washington Avenue. On Saturdays, we’re in the main parking lot right behind the Charles County Courthouse.

 

The Charles County Courthouse & Government complex parking lot is the perfect place to start a downtown stroll, with easy access in and out. Why not make a day of it? Experience the charm of La Plata's small town feel and find new places to explore on your next visit.
