We had a soft opening. It was not great, so we did what our forefathers did: we got up, dusted ourselves off, and changed what we were doing to make it better. Now we're back at it, and we hope you'll join us!
We'll be in the overflow parking lot behind the Charles County Courthouse tomorrow, July 4, 9 am - 1 pm, with our vendor pioneers. Working in a COVID-19 environment is new territory for all of us, and the road is probably going to be a little rough. We know we've got supportive traveling companions, though -- we're looking at you -- so we're optimistic that we'll all come out of this better and stronger.
Come celebrate the independent spirit that made America what it is and support our small, locally-owned businesses!
Face covering (mask, gaiter, scarf, bandanna...you pick) and social distancing are required in the market area. Hopefully, this will help us stay off of COVID-19 contact tracing reports. We really don't want to be known as THAT farmers market.
We also ask that you touch any product that you haven't already purchased only with your eyes -- not literally, obviously -- your vendor will help you take a closer look if needed. And if you prefer curbside delivery, please contact your vendor directly to arrange that.
We look forward to seeing you, our fellow Americans, at the Market!
